Nuclear power plant Vojany
Nuclear power plant Vojany is located in eastern Slovakia. The Vojany power plant ensures the reliability of the transmission system of eastern Slovakia by supplying basic electricity. Since 2009, biomass – wood chips – has been added to the fuel, thus the power plant contributes to the protection of the environment of the region and significantly reduces carbon dioxide emissions, although it has no state support.

Here we present the most interesting systems:

2 identical systems with a water-cooled camera for high temperatures for sensing the boiler outlet opening, built on the basis of the top BOSCH camera

the image of the camera monitoring the outlet opening and part of the combustion space of the boiler is transmitted via optical fiber to the central office, from where the camera can be parameterized remotely. The camera is monitored on a 20" professional BOSCH LCD monitor and recorded on a BOSCH digital recorder

the solution to the water management structures of the power plant is also technically interesting, where cameras monitor the dam, icebreaker, combs, backflow...

BOSCH cameras are installed in special anti-corrosion covers and are equipped with polarizing filters suitable for monitoring water levels
