City camera system KOŠICE
A modernized and fully functional camera system was handed over to the city police of Košice, which should help not only in clarifying offenses, but also in the investigation of crimes and other anti-social activities. It consists of high-end recording equipment and modern security cameras, while the video signal is transmitted via a newly built optical cable network. The city camera system is managed by the city police, which currently has approximately 230 cameras at its disposal.

Integrated security system – (BIS, Building Integration System)
The existing BIS system has a durable solution in accordance with the iSCSI standard for storing video recordings from cameras, including metadata from IVA, which are suitable for further use in the Smart City and Big Data system of the city of Košice.
IP camera system - (BVMS, Bosch Video Management System)
All existing fixed cameras and rotating cameras are equipped with the functions of intelligent video analysis, which is necessary for the processing of image data in the Smart City system. As functional examples of the use of IVA, we present e.g. traffic evaluation (counting of vehicle passes), classification of objects (pedestrian, cyclist, car, truck), detection of violations of traffic regulations.
